Job Summary

We are seeking a Technician for our Pathology (Histology) department located in Sherbrooke.

The following are responsibilities related to the Technician position:

  • Prepare tissues for microscopic analysis
  • Apply histology and necropsy techniques: tissue collection, trimming, processing, decalcification,  embedding, cutting, staining and quality control of paraffin samples
  • We are seeking a candidate who:
  • Possesses a DEC in Medical Laboratory, Animal Health, Inventory and Research in Biology or other DEC in science or a B.Sc. in Biology
  • Is meticulous, organized and able to work as a team
