Fusion Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radiopharmaceuticals as precision medicines. We have developed our Targeted Alpha Therapies, or TAT, platform together with our proprietary Fast-Clear linker technology to enable us to connect alpha particle emitting isotopes to antibodies and other targeting molecules in order to selectively deliver the alpha particle payloads to tumors. Our TAT platform is underpinned by our research and insights into the underlying biology of alpha emitting radiopharmaceuticals as well as our differentiated capabilities in target identification, candidate generation, manufacturing and supply chain and development of imaging diagnostics. We believe that our TATs have the potential to build on the successes of currently available radiopharmaceuticals and be broadly applicable across multiple targets and tumor types.

Position Location: Hamilton, Ontario


  • Identify and develop new techniques and molecular targets to expand or enhance existing programs
  • Adapt or develop, validate and perform bioassays in a rapidly evolving research environment
  • Design and conduct therapeutic efficacy and biodistribution studies on radiopharmaceuticals in rodent models of cancer
  • Produce high quality and well documented data with strong attention to detail
  • Contribute to internal project teams through the setting and achieving scientific goals, communication of results, and solving multifaceted scientific challenges
  • Other duties as required

Required Education/Experience:

  • Ph.D with at least 3-year post-graduate experience in Biochemistry, Biology, Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology or other relevant discipline
  • Strong background in tumor biology and/or immunology is an asset
  • Experience with development and validation of in vivo disease models in mice
  • Experience with development and technical validation of in vitro bioassays
  • Experience with general biochemical (e.g., protein quantification, ELISA, SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting, UV/VIS spectroscopy) and cell biological methods (eg. flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence)

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to adapt to, perform, and develop unfamiliar methods in a rapidly evolving research environment
  • Verbal and written proficiency in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Experience with the safe handling of radioactive and potentially biohazardous materials
