As a Procurement Business Partner for Canada, you will be the key procurement representative within your region, focusing on both Cost of Goods (COGs) and indirect procurement areas. You will work closely with local business partners, ensuring the efficient execution of procurement strategies and contributing to Sanofi’s global mission. You will also play a critical role in driving process improvements, managing supplier relationships, and supporting the transformation of procurement operations within the North American region.

Main responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for procurement in Canada, collaborating with country chairs, finance business partners, and commercial leads to integrate procurement strategies into budgetary processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with local stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and other technical teams.
  • Drive operational excellence by supporting the implementation of global procurement strategies and ensuring alignment with local requirements.
  • Lead the communication and execution of procurement initiatives, ensuring they align with local business needs and contribute to overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage supplier relationships at the local level, ensuring that global standards are upheld while adapting to local market conditions.
  • Support the deployment of new digital tools and processes within procurement, contributing to Sanofi’s position on sustainability indices like the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

About you:

  • Strong background in procurement, with experience managing procurement activities across a country or multi-country organization.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and change management skills; ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proven ability to influence across all Management levels and across Business functions.
  • Prior procurement/organization Hub matrix working environment experience.
  • High level of analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly.
  • Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
