Job description:

The Document Control Specialist assists the SOP Custodian in the maintenance, distribution and control of SOP and related documents. He/She is also responsible for the formatting and filing of electronic and paper documentation. In addition, this position involves assisting with archiving study-specific and general documentation, as well as data entry as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the control, retrieval, and issuance of SOP
  • Perform document formatting prior to issuance
  • Perform archiving (close-up, numbering, verification, filing, preparing table of contents, and filing appropriate archiving documentation)
  • Electronic and paper document filing

Requirements

  • DEC degree in administration, archiving, or life sciences
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position or equivalent is required
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of GLP and GCLP regulations
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Positive, professional attitude and ability to take initiative
  • Ability and willingness to follow procedures
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Good communication skills in French and English
