Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Veterinarian for our Veterinary Sciences department site located in Senneville (Ouest of Montreal) in Canada.

Work Schedule & Salary:

• Relocation Assistance if needed

• Annual salary depending on your experience

• Schedules : Mostly daytime, Monday to Friday. Based on company needs, you may be called on to work weekend and evening shifts. A rotation system will be used to assign these shifts to all available Veterinarians on the team.

What you will be working on

You will be responsible for ensuring the health and welfare of the animals. You will provide medical care, diagnosis and treatment as required.  You will also be called on to review and optimize the animal monitoring program and provide professional expertise to guide technical procedures involving the animals. You will also be a member of our animal ethics committee where you will be called on to lend your expertise to evaluate all procedures performed on animals before studies begin.

What kind of person are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and a valid OMVQ licence. The ideal candidate must be a team player who enjoys learning and has good observation skills. They must have a good understanding of written English and be available to work varied hours.

Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.
