Job Summary

We are looking for an animal health technician to join our InVivo team located in Boisbriand QC.

As animal health technician, you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals. Invivo department is responsible for ensuring animal welfare and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies, which mainly involve medical devices.

  • Salary starts at $19.50/hour.
  • Full time, permanent position (37.5 hours/week).
  • Weekend work premium ($2.75/hour).
  • After 37,5 h : Overtime paid at time and a half
  • Holiday: Paid at double time
  • Annual bonus based on performance.
  • Bonus of 2,000$ after 6 months.

What will you work on? 

Our team of Technicians are professionals who carry out technical tasks relating to surgery (pre-op, anesthesia, post-op, drug administration, blood collection, etc) as well as collecting data while maintaining their living conditions according to the highest wellbeing standards in the industry.

We apply the principles of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for candidates with a technical background in animal health or with a Bachelor’s degree in animal sciences. The ideal candidate must be a team player with good observation skills, must be able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg.), must be able to read and communicate in French and must be available to work a variable schedule.
