Co-operative education at the University of Ottawa is a three-way partnership between the University, students and employers. Students apply their classroom knowledge to a series of four-month work experiences. The employers have the opportunity to enhance someone’s education, while reaping the unique benefits of CO-OP employment. It’s also a great way to evaluate potential full-time staff in a controlled environment, reducing costs and risks. The program is optional, yet competitive and students are admitted based on academic achievement. The Career Development Center offers many services an organisation can use for a successful recruitment or marketing campaign on campus at the University of Ottawa including career fairs and job posting for grads.
