Now entering its fourth year, the I.D.E.A.L. Bioscience Employer™ Recognition Program from BioTalent Canada has opened its call for submissions from organizations looking to highlight what they have done to champion people as much as innovation and inspire others across the bio-economy.

Work-integrated learning critical to Canada’s innovation economy says new report
BioTalent Canada has released a new report highlighting the national impact of the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP), a federal initiative that helps post-secondary students gain hands-on experience through paid work placements.
The report, Results with Impact: The ROI of Student Talent, underscores BioTalent Canada’s SWPP project’s role in building domestic talent pipelines through paid, hands-on work experiences that help students enter the workforce with relevant skills while giving Canadian businesses the capacity to grow.

Resilience, leadership and vision: Meet the 2025 I.D.E.A.L. Scholarship™ recipients
Three future bioscience leaders from across Canada are being celebrated as the recipients of BioTalent Canada’s second annual I.D.E.A.L. (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility Leadership) Scholarship™. Each recipient will receive $10,000 to support their post-secondary studies and shape a more inclusive and innovative bio-economy.
