Adam’s Ride

Monday, July 8

Adam’s story is an amazing ride of faith and hard work. In 2013, the day after his 13th birthday, Adam was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer (GBM) and told he had a year to live. Adam didn’t lose hope, and rather than going with standard of care, Adam changed his diet and with superhuman personal discipline kept his ketones above his glucose levels for a full year.

In the summer of 2014, he completed 100km bike ride to raise money for brain cancer research, and since then has participated multiple times in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Today his cancer is back, it came back in his spine and brain stem. Again, his prognosis is terminal. Again, he’s not accepting standard of care and has returned to his highly therapeutic diet and is pursuing an experimental immunotherapy treatment plan. Providence is making a personalized mRNA vaccine for Adam.

For anyone in the Calgary area that would like to ride with/walk/support Adam on July 8th please register by July 7th.
