OTTAWA, February 8th, 2022 – BioTalent Canada announced today that it’s accepting nominations for its flagship award, the Catalyst Award for Top New Hire. The award, which took a one-year hiatus in 2021, recognizes the impacts and achievements of young employees who are wage subsidy recipients in Canada’s burgeoning bio-economy. It places a spotlight on the employers that give these young minds an opportunity.
The Catalyst Award for Top New Hire was launched in 2015 and has been awarded to some of the bio-economy’s top young minds. The most recent winner, Jenna Storoschuk, earned the award recognition in 2020 for her contributions to healthcare start-up CleanSlate UV where she made a major impact in short order. She has since continued her bio-economy career at Synaptive Medical.
