As an Academic Contact, it’s your responsibility to review the information in the Work-Integrated Learning Agreement (WIL) to ensure accuracy. This is a simple, but important step in the process of approving a student for participation in BioTalent Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP).
To approve an application BioTalent Canada must know the participant is a student within your post-secondary institution, the placement is related to their field of study and placement will happen before the expected graduation date.
Step 1: Review the pre-populated fields in the Work-Integrated Learning Agreement (WIL).
Step 2: Confirm the information provided by both the student and their employer is accurate and up-to-date.
Step 3: If any changes are required, make the edits directly within the application.
Step 4: Confirm the information in the WIL and submit.
