Izabella Roth

CEO, Infinity Healthcare

Izabella Roth is a health leadership professional, now at the passionately happy helm of Infinity Healthcare. It helps that she holds an MBA from IE Business School, ranked among the top three MBA programs on the planet by the Financial Times in their 2017 Global MBA Ranking. It helps that she also holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Nursing degrees from the University of Alberta and has been laboring, laughing, sometimes crying, and often celebrating with the healthcare providers under her supervision for more than a decade.

Izabella succeeds by keeping her workplace fun and her leadership style light. Her uniquely bright combination of leadership and people skills shone first during her tenure as the Director of Health and Emergency Management for the North Peace Tribal Council: her holistic managerial style and innovative health and education initiatives there not only dramatically improved the Tribal Council’s ability to service the community but also earned Izabella national recognition from Health Canada and brought her speaking opportunities at the national and local levels.

Later, as Ambulatory Care Manager for Alberta Health Services (directing a team of 50 physicians, RNs, LPNs, pharmacists, social workers, and administrative staff) and more recently as Edmonton Area Director for Bayshore Home Health (directing a team of over 300), Izabella’s managerial prowess and devotion to her employees dramatically boosted staff morale while simultaneously benefitting the companies’ financial health. Bayshore Home Health’s Revenue grew by a whopping 2799% under her directorship.

Roth insists that changing the world starts at home. To that end, and working together with her husband, she raises two delightfully inquisitive children and one equally inquisitive Shih Tzu Yorkie mix—aka a Shorkie—named Hiccup.

Dornoosh Zonoobi

VP of AI, Exo imaging

Dornoosh is Exo imaging’s Vice President of Artificial Intelligence. Exo (pronounced “Echo”) is a health information and devices company whose mission is to modernize medical imaging through its high-performance handheld ultrasound platform and artificial intelligence. Most recently, Dornoosh was the co-founder & CEO of Medo.ai, a health-tech startup focused on developing cutting-edge AI technologies to simplify the use of ultrasound, which Exo acquired. She led Medo from ideation to two FDA-cleared products deployed in four countries and through the eventual acquisition.

Dornoosh earned her Master’s and Ph.D. in the area of computer vision and machine learning from the National University of Singapore and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in 3D Ultrasound analysis at the Radiology department of the University of Alberta, Canada.
