The Visual Media Specialist is responsible for 2D and 3D animation in the creation of engaging marketing, educational and corporate video content including: commercials, interviews, product tours, technical support demos, webinars and live streaming events.

Education & Qualifications: 
  • Recent industry experience in producing educational videos targeted to an academic or corporate audience
  • 5+ years experience in creating broadcast quality motion graphics
  • Advanced knowledge of Cinema 4D Studio and its integrations with After Effects
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC software - particularly Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Possess artistic style, eye for composition, strong sense of timing and sequencing, and impeccable attention to detail
  • 4+ years of experience and demonstrated ability in videography and lighting with various cameras including experience in a 4K DSLR shooting environment.
  • Must have the ability to give significant guidance on all aspects of a video: concept, scriptwriting, storyboarding, lighting and shooting, editing, 2D gfx work in AE, keying and colour correction, audio post in audition, and final publishing to any web format.
  • Knowledge of how to setup, maintan and trouble shoot local network render farm
  • Advanced knowledge of Cinema 4D team render is an asset
  • Related Degree or diploma
  • Thorough knowledge of web publishing and video codecs
  • Fluent in English with solid ability to articulately discuss ideas with stakeholders
  • of various roles and backgrounds
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Creating and editing educational and corporate video content including: commercials, interviews, product tours, technical support demos and webinars and live streaming events
  • Developing and creating complex 2D motion graphics and 3D animations for video
  • Post-production work including editing; complex motion graphics; visual and sound effects; music selection; 2D animation; integration of 3D models and animation into 2D environments
  • Provide technical and artistic support to diverse stakeholders including Product Managers and Scientists in developing scripts and storyboards
  • Effectively collaborate with members of the team to produce video and multimedia content in stylistic adherence with the corporate brand and style guide
