Job Description Summary

The Senior Producer, Visual Media is a multifaceted role, taking on the duties and responsibilities of a director, producer, cinematographer, and senior editor. This role is responsible for the overall production of internally and externally facing videos. This includes the management of resources and expectations in terms of time to produce videos and the process to produce them. The majority of videos produced at STEMCELL are product related explainer videos. The full range of educational and corporate multimedia content includes: interviews, product tours, technical support demos, webinars, and animated online ads.

Education & Qualifications: 
  • Specialized knowledge of methods and techniques of video production
  • Proven ability in conceptualizing, producing, and delivering projects on time
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem solve, project manage, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently and be able to prioritize and keep organized
  • Highly proficient in the PC environment and possess advanced skills in Adobe CC and other tools.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and open to constructive feedback
  • Education in video creation
  • Experience managing a team
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Thorough knowledge of web publishing and video codecs
  • Fluent in English with solid ability to articulately discuss ideas with stakeholders of various roles and backgrounds
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Management and prioritization of video requests
  • Measuring and setting metrics and key performance indicators including time and cost to create
  • Completion of videos on time and in scope
  • Improvement and development of efficient processes
  • Communication with other departments to secure filming space and communicate priorities
  • Brings fresh, new, creative ideas in relation to how and where to use video and how to increase views and retention
  • Enables creation of creative videos while adhering to the style guide standards.
  • Evaluates and provides support in developing scripts
  • Training, management, and performance review of the video team
