Senior Manager, Primary Cells oversees the Primary Cells Product Line, and develops strategic and tactical plans for the expansion of the portfolio, ensuring consistency with STEMCELL’s overall corporate objectives

Education & Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing or R&D in the life sciences sector.
  • Excellent understanding of the legal and regulatory environments surrounding primary cells, in the US and other major markets.
  • Experience building strong working relationships with customers, business partners and/or senior employees.
  • Strong business acumen. 
  • Well organized with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of corporate finance, margin analysis and project valuation.
  • Flexible with a good tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and build motivation.
  • Confident, results-oriented individual.
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans for the expansion of the Primary Cell portfolio that are consistent with STEMCELL’s overall corporate objectives.
  • Ensure that both short- and long-term growth projections are achieved by contributing to and executing 1- and 5-year plans.
  • Work with QA and Business Development departments to ensure all appropriate compliances are in place to provide primary cells products in the US and all major markets.\Working with Sales, Marketing and R&D, assist in the day to day management of portfolio.
  • Act as a project manager for the execution of strategic plans using STEMCELL’s project management framework and ensuring best practices are adhered to throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Ensure all relevant regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Supervise direct reports.
  • Chair regular meetings with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the selection and prioritization of portfolio expansion projects.
  • Identify, prepare and deliver product training to Sales and Technical Support Teams.
  • Assist with defining marketing message(s) for product line and positioning of the product for all markets and buyers.
  • Work with Product Marketing Managers to ensure that Marketing and Sales activities are in alignment.
  • Review existing product performance by region.
  • Contribute to 5 and 10 year product development plan.
  • Identify market/revenue opportunities for existing and new products.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of product, market trends, opportunities and competitive landscape for assigned product line(s) through feedback from the field, literature reviews, etc.
