BioTalent Canada is a national non-profit organization of innovators and thought leaders who assess and address the Human Resource needs of Canada’s bio-economy. BioTalent Canada anticipates needs and creates new opportunities, delivering human resources tools, information and skills development to ensure the industry has access to the most skilled people available. It accomplishes this by working with its Corporate Members, Partners, volunteers and government departments who support and fund specific short and long-term HR projects.

Reporting to the President & CEO, the Business Development & Partnerships Officer will be responsible for developing new partnerships and sales revenue sources for BioTalent Canada in line with BioTalent Canada’s current Partnership program, product and service offerings, expertise and skills. The position will be target-focused with revenue generation expectations and milestones.
The organization has a current partner compliment of approximately 40 small and large companies and associations from within and outside the biotechnology industry. The Business Development Officer will be charged with some inside but mostly outside sales in closing 10-15 mid-to-large prospects per year and in maintaining a high partner retention rate the organization currently enjoys.
