Job Description


Treventis Corp., an early-stage pharmaceutical company focusing on protein misfolding disorders, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its research and development facilities in Toronto’s Discovery District.

The ideal applicant will be resourceful, organized, personable, trustworthy, and highly motivated to improve team performance through administrative support.


Education & Qualifications: 


  • At a minimum, completion of a recognized post-secondary program in secretarial arts or equivalent
  • At least two years of relevant experience in office administration
  • Strong collaboration and team skills
  • Handles confidential information with discretion
  • Comfort (and preferably, experience) working in a research environment
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in the use of cloud-based collaboration and calendar applications is an asset

At least two years of relevant experience in office administration

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ordering, shipping, tracking, and receiving of correspondence, equipment, materials, and supplies
  • Liaising with management, shippers, and/or vendors as needed for resolving any delivery issues
  • Collating, scanning, filing, and forwarding time sheets, packing slips, and other documents for further processing
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and catering
  • Managing calendars for team and management meetings
  • Maintaining a list of important training and compliance dates for the facilities
  • Acting as the librarian for company policy documents (paper / company databases)
  • General office administration
