Pharmascience Inc.’s flagship internship program, Next Generations Leaders, is granting young employees the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, skills and talent like never before.  Another such program is the successful and innovative Leadership Rotation Program which helps new employees develop the critical skills for management-level positions.  Over the last five years, Pharmascience has invested over $1 million in its flagship program to date and is committed to renewing its investment for the next three years. 

Pharmascience was recently selected as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

As one of BioTalent Canada’s Showcase Employers, Pharmascience is an avid consumer of the organization’s programs and services.  One such program is Career Focus, a wage subsidy program for new biotechnology graduates.  One of Pharmascience’s hires was Cynthia Perez, a graduate from Université de Montréal, who thanks to the Career Focus wage subsidy program, started her career with Pharmascience as Associate of Labelling and Compliance. “Pharmascience's Next Generation Leaders program has provided me with the opportunity to grow exponentially within the company over the past three years. The dynamic leadership and training program has enabled me to discover the industry and its many departments prior to obtaining my current position,”  she says. “The career orientation and business advice I received during the NGL program enabled me to acquire a full-time job upon graduation and I have also been fortunate to work with a group of colleagues that are not only knowledgeable and hardworking but passionate individuals, which has made my experience all the more enriching.”

In addition to the Next Generation Leaders program, Pharmascience will launch this year a new initiative Youth Mentoring Youth where young alumni of the Next Generation Leaders program will have the opportunity to coach and mentor new interns joining Pharmascience this summer.
