Job Description
Summary: 

The Department of Chemistry at Brock University invites applications for a Tier II Canada Research Chair position in any area of Analytical or Bioanalytical Chemistry. Candidates with expertise in Biotechnology would enhance existing strengths at Brock University.

Tier II CRC applicants will be exceptional emerging researchers, acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to lead in their field. Candidates should have excellent teaching records including experience in the supervision of graduate and undergraduate research students. Research Chair positions come with significant discretionary research funding, additional funding for equipment through the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), and reduced teaching loads. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core undergraduate and graduate level Analytical Chemistry courses and to develop and maintain a thriving, externally funded, research program.

Brock University is located in St. Catharines, Ontario in the Niagara Peninsula.
